6 Amazing Places in The USA! – 2021

If you don’t want to get out of the USA to travel, these places are going to amaze you with how beautiful they are. These places are more like discovering and looking at amazing views instead of having fun activities but some of these places do have fun activities to do on their website.

1. White Sands National Monument, New Mexico

Plan Your Visit – White Sands National Park

The entrance fee to enter White Sand is $25 per vehicle per week. The white sands of New Mexico are one of the wonders of the world. It was surprising that the white “sand” is gypsum crystals. You can ride your bike and play in the moonlight, and the visitor will get a completely different perspective as the light changes. During the day, visitors can explore the dunes on foot thanks to the marked trails. Guided tours are also available, with the range guiding the expedition.

2. Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming

Plan Your Visit – Yellowstone National Park …

Yellowstone National Park spans 3472 square miles, and geysers are everywhere in the area. There are 1,000 to 3,000 earthquakes annually in Yellowstone, but most are small to feel.

Seven-day passes –

  • Private, Non-Commercial vehicle: $35
  • Motorcycle or Snowmobile: $30
  • Individual (by foot, bicycle, ski, etc): $20/person

Annual Pass: $70

Anyone age 15 or younger are exempt from paying entrance fees. Also, anyone traveling through the park for business or commercial purposes needs a commercial travel permit.

3. The Wave, Arizona/Utah

The Wave – Coyote Buttes North Permit and Hiking Information …

To visit The Wave you need a permit for an area called Coyote Buttes North, and it’s very difficult to obtain. The Wave is a sandstone rock formation located in Arizona, near its northern border with Utah. The best season of the year to visit The Wave is during spring or fall; it’s not too cold or too hot.

4. Nã Pali Coast State Wilderness Park, Hawaii

The Napali Coast on Kauai | Go Hawaii

Lucky us, there is no entrance fee to The Nã Pali Coast, but if you are camping there is a fee. You need to get a camping permit and it’s only $10 per person. Camping is only allowed at Hanakoa or Kalalau and nowhere else. Nã Pali has some of the world’s largest and most beautiful waterfalls (there are hundreds of waterfalls). It receives over 400 inches of annual rainfall, has numerous caves, and the waves can be massive.

5. Crater Lake, Oregon

Plan Your Visit – Crater Lake National Park (US National Park Service)

At 1943 feet deep, Crater Lake is America’s deepest lake. Come here if you enjoy the cold; the annual average snowfall is 43 feet and also is one of the snowiest places in the USA. Snow covers the park for 8 months of the year. The problem is that is very expensive to stay there. There are also pumice castles on the ground.

Park Entrance Fee: there are Free Entrance Days on specific days though.

  • Private Vehicles – $30 in the summer (May 22 – Oct. 31) $20 in the winter (Nov. 1 – May 21).
  • Bicycle & Pedestrians –  $15 per individual. Youth 15 and underage are admitted free of charge.
  • Motorcycle – $25 in the summer (May 22 – Oct. 31), $15 in the winter (Nov. 1 – May 21).
  • Commercial Vehicle – (based on the capacity of the vehicle)
  • capacity of 1 to 6 passengers: $25 + $15 per passenger.
  • capacity of 7 to 15 passengers: $75
  • capacity of 16 to 25 passengers: $100
  • capacity of 26 or more passengers: $200

If you come often there’s an Annual Park Pass for $55 and it works as well to go to Lava Beds National Monument.

6. Antelope Canyon, Arizona

Antelope Canyon | Discover Navajo

Antelope Canyon has two parts, an upper and a lower section, called ‘the Crack’ and ‘the corkscrew’. The upper section is 660 feet, the lower section is 1,335 feet, and the depth is 120 feet (37m). It’s pretty deep and huge. The problem is that if you want to go there you have to pay for the tour and you can’t enter if you are not willing to go through the tour. The tour duration is: 90 minutes of roundtrip – 15 minutes of shuffle ride down/back – 60 minutes of canyon site.

  • Adults pay $90 per adult (13+ age)
  • Children ages 0-12 are $60
